Founded in 1999 by Philip Urso (Chairman) and Jeff Thompson (CEO), Towerstream has witnessed significant growth since inception:

| January 2007 | Launched service in the Seattle market (SpeakEasy acquisition) |

| June 2007 | Completed secondary financing and raised $40 million in capital |
| October 2007 | Completed 160 seat sales center in the Middletown office. |
| December 2007 | December 8Mbps promotion brings in record high 100 contracts |

Unlike other internet service providers, Towerstream owns its entire network and is not dependant on the local exchange carrier network of phone wires or cable. This allows Towestream to deliver a very reliable last mile solution with a faster installation at a significantly lower price than the competition.
